Donna Dostal, MPA President & CEO Pottawattamie County Community Foundation Donna Dostal joined the Pottawattamie County Community Foundation (PCCF) in late April of 2018. As president and Chief Executive Officer, Donna works closely with the Board of Directors to design and execute on the strategic direction for PCCF around community-wide engagement in philanthropy and community impact for southwest Iowa. Prior to her role at the PCCF, Donna served as Chief Development Officer for Heartland Family Service, where she was responsible for oversight of the agency’s fundraising and sustainability efforts, volunteer involvement, marketing, communications, and public relations. Before her role at Heartland Family Service, Donna spent 12 years with Bellevue University, where she was National Business Development Manager. Donna is a graduate of Bellevue University, with dual undergraduate degrees in Communication Arts and Liberal Art for Business, and a Masters of Public Administrations. Donna serves on the Board of Directors for the Intercultural Senior Center in Omaha, Heartland Family Service, Family Crisis Centers of Iowa (Sioux City), and is the Vice President of the Council Bluffs Symphony Guild Board. Donna is also an at-large member of the Noon Rotary Club Board of Directors in Council Bluffs and Rotary International. She is a graduate of the 2019-20 Leadership Iowa program sponsored by the ABI Foundation of Iowa; is a graduate of Leadership Council Bluffs Class 27 (in 2015); and the Nonprofit Association of the Midlands Executive Leadership Institute, Class 12. In addition, Donna is involved in the Business Ethics Alliance “Speed Ethics” program, a member of the Council Bluffs Chamber of Commerce's new Executive Women's Partnership, is a founding member of the Complete Streets Citizens Advisory Panel for the City of Bellevue, Nebraska, and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Donna was also the recipient of the 2020 Leadership Council Bluffs Doug Goodman Alumni of the Year Award.
