About us 

In response to education foundations and leaders from across the nation, the National Association of Education Foundations, Inc. [NAEF]. was incorporated in April 2021 to provide a national standard for foundations and to certify education foundation leaders. NAEF leads the charge to support foundation leaders and provide resources to strengthen the industry. The NAEF is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(6) member/professional organization.

The National Schools Foundation Association, Inc. [NSFA], remains as our charitable organization to focus on grants, donations, scholarships, and charitable endeavors for the good of our industry. The IRS recognizes the NSFA as a 501(C)3 charitable organization and was incorporated in 2005.

Through the collaborative efforts of NAEF and NSFA, we are able to elevate and promote the education foundation industry, as well as provide support to you, your organization, and the countless number of dedicated professionals who work tirelessly on behalf of education systems across the U.S.
